Is there a way to challenge "answered" questions?  or reply to 'answered' posts...(perhaps there should be)

Hello I just encountered an issue with my excel 2013 status bar (it was not displaying the sum or many other calculations in the status bar)...

I searched for known issues and found this article: https//social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/4c9eb9f4-4c15-49b3-a923-505284735284/no-cell-count-on-status-bar-in-excel-2013?

The response was 'fix your excel 2013 or reinstall it' (lol)

I found out that this is only occurring with excel sheets made by other people than yourself so this is possibly a bug.. it would be good to be able to challenge or re-open an issue if there was evidence that it is not just 're-install it' thing...

[also, you can't no longer even reply on those articles? (just to tell people that it may be something else?) (when you try to reply; it just redirects you to the image that someone already provided an 'answer'..?)] This was due I didn't have a TechNet account or was being validated, don't mind this last comment; I leave it in case others encountered the same thing..

Hi,

As far as I know, this issue might be occurred with this scenario:

The Excel file was previous version of Office 2013, and then you used them with Office 2013.

Thus, Please try to convert the spreadsheet to the new version (File > Info > Convert).

Hope it's helpful.
